The new EP from the danish stoner rock band SUMMON KING SYKES invites the listener to an aggressive and melodic journey to a dystopic realm of the unknown.

Summon King Sykes has been a part of the stoner rock underground of Copenhagen since 2018, and they’ve waited in anticipation to present their new sound. The songs on Past Human Minds presents the first chapter in a musical collaboration between the four band members Mathias Mølleskov (guitar), Mads Otto Foged Davidsen (bass), Mathias La Cour (drums and vocal), and Nicki Holm (guitar and vocal).

The music has been recorded at Fullmoon Studio in Copenhagen in collaboration with Simon Sonne (ORM), who has done the mix and master. Simon was an obvious choice as producer for the band, because his background in metal has contributed to the powerful and sharp sound of the EP, which enhances the riffs and progressive parts.
